This policy explains what personal data Honest Car Costs collects, why, and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails unless you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. [Remove this sentence if there will be no mailing list.]
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the shop, under contract:
- Gumroad: processes orders and payments, handles sales tax and VAT, delivers the download and sends receipts, under its own privacy policy;
- Google Fonts: our website loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the page loads. [Remove if fonts are hosted on our own server before launch.]
Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK–US data bridge.
4. Cookies and analytics
The website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add any, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. [Update when analytics are approved and set up.]
5. How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: for as long as UK law requires (generally six years after the end of the financial year).

6. Your rights

- delete your data, where we don't have to keep it;
